This Administrative Assistant I position is in our Learning Lab in the Testing Services department. This position is responsible for proctoring exams, setting up exams for instructors, scheduling exams in RegisterBlast, recording usage stats, generating reports and rosters, and troubleshooting issues in the lab.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Certificate and one year of office work experience.
Essential Functions & Position Duties
- Performs basic receptionist duties (answering phones, greeting visitors, directing calls, etc.)
- Maintains files (both electronic and hard copy)
- Data entry
- Maintains confidential and sensitive information
Non-essential functions of the position
Other duties as assigned. Duties must be performed on the John A. Logan College campus or designated location.

Type of Position: Full-time; Operational
Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm three days a week; 9:30am - 6:00pm two days a week (late days may vary from week to week)
Salary Range: $16.00 - $16.50 / hour dependent on education and experience
