Job Description

Functions as an Executive Assistant in the College of Medicine and Office of Research, providing support to the Chair of Neurological Surgery and Director of the Gene Therapy Institute; performs a broad range of multi-faceted administrative duties; effectively anticipates support needs and prioritizes duties; confers with Chair / Director, and Department Administrator daily to set priorities and ensure deadlines are met; serves as a primary point of contact and liaison to leadership offices as well as department heads, faculty, industry partners, and other constituencies on a broad range of organizational issues; utilizes considerable discretion and judgment in handling actions on behalf of the Chair / Director and determining appropriate disposition of matters.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 3 years of relevant experience required. 5 years of relevant experience preferred.

This is an hourly-paid role. Some work on nights and weekends is required, and over-time pay will be fully supported.

Flexibility on work locations is required. Primary location is Doan Hall, and a secondary location is the Pelotonia Research Center.
