Job Title: Research Administration Administrative Coordinator Department: Medicine | Psychiatry

Research Administration Administrative Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative support to the Research Administration within the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health. This position is the first point of contact for the building, will greet research participants and assist them with navigation; anticipates administrative and professional needs in relationship to their responsibilities; performs a variety of complex and confidential administrative support duties; effectively anticipates support needs and efficiently prioritizes duties; acts as first contact for all inquiries for Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health Research Administration; researches, collects and summarizes data and information requested by department and administration to aid in decision making and strategic planning processes; conveys directives and information from Research Administration leadership; takes, types and transcribes meeting minutes; proactively manages calendars and scheduling of meetings; compiles documents for meetings; prepares financial requests related to research administration building management using Workday; schedules and coordinates Research Administration Building Safety Meetings, de-briefs and other activities; assists department administrator with various administrative functions; performs backup support in the absence of C4N administrative coordinator; assists in day-to-day phone coverage as needed. Other duties as assigned.

Additional Information:

Required Qualifications

6 months experience (600 hours course work or training) in customer service or communications, including researching, analyzing & interpreting information; 6 months experience (600 hours training) in operation of spreadsheet, publication, and/or presentation software and related computer equipment; administrative experience in Infectious Diseases is strongly preferred; experience utilizing OSUs financial and human resource systems desired; Requires successful completion of a background check; qualified candidates may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical, including a drug screen.

Additional Desired Qualifications:

Administrative experience in Psychiatry/Behavioral Health is strongly preferred; experience utilizing OSUs financial and human resource systems desired.
