Job Description :
Seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Contract Admin Assistant I to join the team on the 1st shift in East Syracuse. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and comparing Supply Chain goods receipt entries and supplier invoice data, ensuring data accuracy, and resolving discrepancies. This position requires strong problem-solving abilities, familiarity with document processing systems, and basic ERP knowledge.
Responsibilities :
- Review and compare goods receipt entries and supplier invoices to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Identify document errors, investigate discrepancies, and conduct root cause analysis to resolve issues.
- Align system data to ensure successful remittance processes for suppliers.
- Communicate with Sourcing Management to address root causes of discrepancies and improve processes.
- Report payment status across multiple suppliers using integrated data from various systems.
- Support data reconciliation and reporting tasks to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain accurate records and provide regular updates on payment statuses.
Requirements & Skills:
Experience: 2 years of experience in a related administrative or supply chain support role.
Education: Associates degree required; Bachelors degree preferred. In lieu of a Bachelors degree, 3+ years of relevant experience may suffice.
Problem Solving : Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and address discrepancies in data.
Data Analytics: Comfortable with data analysis and generating reports to ensure accuracy.
System Familiarity: Familiarity with web-based portals for document processing.
ERP Knowledge : Basic understanding of SAP or other ERP systems.
Excel Proficiency: Strong skills in Excel, including data manipulation, reporting, and analysis (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
Communication: Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal teams, especially Sourcing Management, to resolve issues.
